If you got fired, that’s exactly what he did, or rather, that’s the meaning of what he did. 
You see, long ago when European and Norse clans wanted to get rid of people without killing them, they drove them from the village and burned their houses down - hence the expression “to get fired.”
Something to think about that the next time Trump (or your boss) points those fingers and utters the trademark phrase.
Heh . . . all the more reason to not work for someone who can do that to you.
